Introduction
We built this handheld UVC wand because we were tired of watching good fabric get ruined. You know the scene—traditional UV lights scorch, shrink, and warp delicate materials. So we set out to fix it. The answer? A custom “cold light” UV lamp that focuses on killing germs, not cranking up the heat. It disinfects without the burn.
What’s Inside
At the heart of the wand is a compact, high-power UVC source built for one thing: quick, on-the-spot disinfection. It packs a serious germicidal punch into a handheld size. You can run it over prints, seams, and finished surfaces without having to move the whole piece through a booth. The power is tuned to sterilize, but the heat stays low—so your delicate materials don’t pay the price.
Material & Design
It runs on true cold light. The lamp delivers UVC while cutting out the infrared that makes surfaces heat up fast. That means fabric stays intact. No melting synthetics. No yellowing. No warped prints. And because it’s portable, you can move it across rolls and garments quickly. Less dwell time equals even less heat buildup.
What It Does for You
If you work with heat-sensitive fabrics, you know the struggle: you need to disinfect without wrecking the print. This wand gives you surface-level microbial control while keeping the color, the hand feel, and the shape exactly where you want them.
Keep It Real
One thing to remember: this is a surface treatment. For thick stacks or porous layers, you’ll still need to watch for shadows and make sure every side gets enough exposure.
